As a professional and trusted house cleaning service in The Villages, Florida, sending a well selected crew that respects your home and belongings is not only important to us, it’s necessary. In rare cases, we may send a team of three, but for a variety of reasons, including your safety, we avoid the practice.

No, you do not have to be home during the cleaning – but if you are, we’re happy to see you!

Some of our clients prefer to be home the entire time and we love them for it. Others prefer to greet us when we arrive then leave the home while we clean. We want you to be comfortable with our services to you either way!

Most of the clients prefer to continue with their activities and use a lock-box with code or hide the key but we promise – if you are home each and every time, we will no doubt enjoy the company!

Not at all! The Villages Maid Service provides all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment.

In fact, it’s preferred that you allow us to use our products / equipment so that we can ensure the final result is to standard.

The Villages Maid Service accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express credit cards, as well as bank debit cards.

We do not accept cash or checks. When you set up your cleaning, we require a credit or debit card on file. The day after your service is complete, we will charge your card for the agreed upon amount.

Yes, The Villages Maid Service proudly offers a satisfaction guarantee.

While we do not anticipate any issues with your service – in fact, we think you’ll be thrilled! – mistakes can happen.

Should a mistake occur, we will promptly return to your home to correct any oversights. While we do not offer a specific money back guarantee, we will work diligently to fix any issues that may come up.

We’re here to work around your scheduling requirements so please let us know what works best for you and we will do our best to accommodate. We do not charge for reschedules as long as we are notified by 8:00 am the day of your cleaning.

Please do note, however, that if we arrive at the home and cannot gain entry for any reason, we do have to charge for the lock out / turn away to cover the time and resources that were needed to get a team to your home.

Yes, you may leave a tip or end of your bonus to your cleaning technician!

Our amazing cleaning techs are thrilled to receive them. Cash gratuities should be given directly to the cleaning staff at the time of your visit.

End of year bonuses: If you are interested in leaving an end of the year bonus, unless specified, all gratuities will be pooled into a general cleaning tech bonus fund to be divided equitably among all cleaning techs who have cleaned your home unless otherwise specified.

No, we do not require signed contracts or ongoing commitments to work with The Villages Maid Service.

Instead, we will ask you to review a service agreement that outlines your service details plus other important account information. This ensures that we clearly understand the scope of work, your expectations, and we’ve set up your account correctly to ensure a flawless service.

Yes, we can move furniture under 10 lbs when it makes sense to do so.

For liability reasons, we are unable to move items heavier than 10 lbs. If you need something over 10 lbs cleaned, please move the item prior to our arrival and we will clean under and behind it.

Yes, please do – we love hand written notes!
